Pete Prieto - Lead Vocals

Pete is a recent transplant to the Central Florida music scene. Born and raised 90 miles from
NY City in Orange County, NY, Pete began his music career in 1987 at the age of 17. Performing solo
acoustic shows throughout the late 80’s and most of the 90’s. A multi-faceted performer, he gigged as
a guitarist and as a vocalist in some of the best rock cover bands in the Delaware River and Hudson
River valleys of NY, NJ, and PA (including “Deadline”,“On the Rocks”, and Vagabond Circus.”) Pete
also spent several years on and off as a side-man for his long time friend and mentor, Bag ’o’ Cats
recording artist Will Hoppey.
After a nearly 5 year hiatus in the latter half of the 00’s Pete returned to the scene with a
vengeance, hosting open mics and jams, while playing with several cover/party bands and acoustic
projects. In 2015 Pete joined with guitar wunderkind Brandon Parrigin to form “I Don’t Know-An Ozzy
Tribute ?” and within 2 years they became the premier Ozzy tribute in NY state. After a whirlwind run
of gigs throughout NY’s Hudson Valley and road shows in PA, MD, NJ, CT. While with IDK, Pete
opened for national and international touring tributes Van Hagar, Alive ‘75 and the Iron Maidens. IDK
also headlined several shows at historic heavy metal venues including the Chance Theatre in
Poughkeepsie, NY, Dingbatz in Clifton, NJ and Lucky 13 in Brooklyn, NY.
Pete’s approach to singing Ozzy is not the usual over-the-top exaggerated style that most
tribute singers use. Instead, he likes to perform Ozzy as he was at the top of his game in the 70’s and
80’s. Close your eyes and you’ll be transported to the first time you dropped the needle on a Sabbath
album or stuck that Bark at the Moon cassette in your tape deck.
Now with WarPigz , Pete will expand his vocal stylings to include all the Sabbath eras, Ronnie
James Dio and maybe even a tune or two from Tony Martin or Ray Gillen.

Loopy - Guitar

Hailing from the rock-infused heart of Michigan, Loopy's rhythmic journey began at the tender age of 10 behind a drum kit. But it was the thunderous beats of Metallica (pre-Black Album), the iconic riffs of Black Sabbath, the melodic genius of Ozzy Osbourne/Randy Rhodes, and the timeless tunes of The Beatles that truly ignited a fire in his soul, leading him to embrace the guitar at the age of 13.

Loopy's early days were a whirlwind of local band gigs, where he honed his songwriting and performance skills, thrilling thousands of fans at festivals and even sharing the stage with legends like The Byrds and the one-and-only Tommy Chong! (Rumor has it, they even shared a particularly potent brownie backstage...)

The early 2000s saw Loopy drawn to the vibrant music scene of Central Florida. Ever the versatile musician, he dove headfirst into a mix of cover and original bands, mastering a diverse range of musical styles. But his heart always belonged to the heavy riffs and dark magic of Black Sabbath.

Now, Loopy unleashes his inner demon with WarPigZ, a tribute band dedicated to honoring the godfathers of heavy metal. With Loopy channeling the spirit of Tony Iommi, WarPigZ delivers a crushing live experience that transports audiences back to the golden age of Sabbath. Prepare to be blown away by their thunderous sound and Loopy's blistering guitar solos!

"Playing Sabbath's music is like tapping into a primal energy," says Loopy. “It's raw, powerful, and timeless. With WarPigZ, we try to capture that essence and bring it to life for a new generation of fans.”

Mike - Bass

Mike's journey on the bass guitar began in 1990, studying with a private teacher and honing his skills in college theory and performance courses. He quickly became a sought-after bassist in the New England music scene, playing countless shows at a variety of venues. In 2005, he brought his talents to Florida, where he's continued to thrill audiences with his energetic performances.

His passion for funk and R&B shines through in his playing. He believes the groove is the heart of any song, and his percussive style creates an infectious foundation that elevates the entire band's performance. He's equally at home in classic rock, blues, and outlaw country, always bringing his signature rhythmic drive.

With WarPigZ, Mike dives deep into the iconic sounds of Black Sabbath. His thunderous bass lines capture the essence of Geezer Butler's legendary playing, laying the groundwork for the band's heavy riffs and soaring vocals. He brings a powerful stage presence and a deep understanding of Sabbath's music, ensuring an authentic and unforgettable experience for every audience.

Tom - Drums

"Meet Tom, aka "Animal," the driving force behind WarPigZ's thunderous rhythm section.

A lifelong Black Sabbath devotee who started banging on pots and pans as a toddler, Tom has conquered the art of rhythm and precision over 56 years behind the kit. His fills explode with the controlled fury of Neil Peart, while his groove maintains the relentless drive of Bill Ward – a testament to years spent absorbing the styles of rock legends and jazz giants like Buddy Rich.

But it's his deep love for Sabbath that truly defines his playing in WarPigZ. He doesn't just play the songs; he channels the spirit of Bill Ward, bringing an unmatched authenticity to the classics like "War Pigs" and "Iron Man." When Tom performs, the “Animal”emerges and he attacks the tunes with precision and power that will leave the audience breathless. Get ready to experience the Sabbath sound like never before, fueled by a drummer with an unwavering commitment to delivering an unforgettable performance!
